Company with brief description: I work for O'Neil Tents and Party Supplies. We have built our reputation as a first class, full service equipment provider because we truly look to make each event the best it can be. O’Neil has been serving the tent needs for the special events industry, corporate functions, wedding or party planners, festival organizers and sporting events for over 50 years. Current Position with brief role description: Sales and Marketing Manager. My charge is to extend the O'Neil Tents brand into new geographic areas of service as well as increasing our exposure in local markets. In addition to brand management, I work on website content, social media and our company blog. How long have you been a member of ISES Columbus? O'Neil Tents has been a proud ISES member for 5 years. What (or Who) made you seek a position on the Board? My goal is to meet more event professionals in the Central Ohio community. In addition to that, I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with tented events to other members. Hopefully, my experiences can help others plan events more effectively, increasing their customer's satisfaction. Give one piece of advice/ encouragement to non-members on why they should join ISES Columbus- or an unexpected benefit to being a member: When I began attending meetings, I wasn't sure what to expect. I found a very welcoming, friendly and extremely professional community of peers who were eager to share their knowledge and excitement for special events planning and management. If you are aren't currently an ISES member, you are missing out on a wealth of knowledge to tap into that you would never accumulate in years on your own.
