As the premier visual arts organization in central Ohio, the Museum seeks to do more than put art on the walls. The Museum seeks to provide Great experiences with great art for everyone – guides all of our activities and focuses our efforts on the visitor experience with the art.

The Museum houses more than 10,500 works of art and is recognized worldwide for its extensive collection of European and American Modernism. The Howald, Sirak, Schumacher, Stuck, Photo League and Schiller Collections are internationally respected and provide the primary genesis for the Museum's exhibition and education program planning.
